This looked like fun, so why not!
Moku and Suchi's 100 Theme Challenge
Okay, here is the challenge, an artistic piece must be done for all 100 of the themes listed below. Which means what ever sort of creations you make (such as 2D and 3D visual art, storytelling, poetry, music, and so on), make a piece that fits the theme.
Here are the rules:
- Make a copy of this Challenge and post it to a journal, blog, tumblr, or any place online where the list can be view by people interested in your craft. When you complete on of the challenges, put the url next to it, so that everyone can see what has been done.
- The themes do not have to be done in order, except for the first and last one. Doing them in order will make it easier to see any progress that has been made, but the order can be left up to the individual participating in the challenge.
- Create an original piece based on the themes listed below.
- There is no time limit on how long it take to complete the list. This is a simple challenge to help broaden the way participants think of their craft and what they can express.
- Experiment with your craft while doing the challenge. Try different styles, palettes, mediums and so on. This can also be a learning experience, so be sure to push beyond what you normal do. ♥
- The pieces don't have to be perfect, they just need to fit the theme. So if you are not 100% happy with how a piece came out, just post it anyways. Be proud of the pieces you make, especially if it was something new that you tried.
- When you post your piece, in the description, also include an artist's statement explaining how the piece embodies the theme you have chosen. There are two reason's for this: that artist's statements are rather important especially if you plan on having pieces in a gallery showing and it can help explain to who the viewer/reader/listener why the piece was created and what the creator had in mind.
- At the end of the description of the piece, be sure to include a link back to your personal list, so that people can see the challenge you are taking and your progress.
- The maturity rating can be anything the participants want it to be. If they want all the pictures to be G, X, or a mix of all ratings they can be. Just keep in mind that if you are posting to another sight, that you are following all of their rules and guidelines. Create responsibly!
- Be sure to keep this list as well as the link provided to the blank version of this, so that if someone wants to also try the challenge after seeing what you are doing, they can do it.
