If you know anyone who is looking for a high-energy dog, my friend is fostering this guy and her situation has changed and she NEEDS help finding a home ASAP. He’s a great dog and very loving but he DOES need someone who can handle a big dog with lots of energy, preferably one who has dealt with escape artist dogs before or at least is home a lot so he has company.

"He definitely needs a home with regularity. If anyone has any more questions about Drogo feel free to PM me. He's a very great and loving dog, but he has separation anxiety issues. With a regular schedule we were able to have him be okay for 4-6 hours alone, but now our schedules have been tossed up and he's back to his escape antics. Chainlink fences aren't good enough for containment.

He's good with dogs, alright with cats (our cat runs away from him but he doesn't give chase or anything, and when he's interacted with her he just sniffed and that was it), loves all people but would probably knock down a small child by accident, taught basic commands, crate trained, house trained, UTD on vaccines and Heartguard, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $250 (he's had $1,000 worth of vet bills, thus the higher fee). No health problems, but he is recovering from a luxated patella surgery so he's still walking a little funny while his leg regains muscle. The vet says his other leg should never have any problems, and that this leg should heal up to be solid and not cause him any issues in the future (at worst, arthritis when he's old, but that's a long way off since he's only about 1 year old)."
