Hello everyone, hope everybody is good on your end. Well giving you guys an update, i just had my first week as Full-time!! i was promoted the week before this one. How it happened was a bit crazy.

Before I get in to that, For those that don't know, Back in December I landed a Job Part-time at a private enterprise as an illustrator, they were going to i guess, test me out and see if they had a need for me and very recently now, I have become full time. So this is how the promotion happened.

Durring the holiday season, myself and other new/newish employees had to stay and work while everyone else was on vacations. at least they were kind enough to allow us to have Christmas eve, christmas day, new years eve, and new years day off. So i had to work on this really really big list of content that was gonna be on the pdfs/books which included a lot of chemistry(mostly what i was working on and still am) its that long...also theres some physics and social studies but most of those are maps.

After everyone came back, people started to work back in to the norm and i was still working on that list. Still doing chemistry stuff.

So at the middle of the week before last, my supervisor tells me to stop what i'm doing on the academic content, we have another part we have to add on the first project i had started with since i've been there. (it was like a mascot with its own display kinda thing, interactive)

Anyways, the follwing morning, i come in and show my sketches. My Supervisor looks, gives me feedback, tells me to work on one of the sketches with minor changes, i say : "ok :)" I turn to say hello to a fellow co-worker and my supervisor tells me with this really straight face: "ivy i need pass by your desk, we need to talk" I said: "ok and nodded" When i walked off, im already thinking...."ok...what did do??" I sit at my cubicle, start woking on the new sketch redraw it o the computer, i make an alternate pose, and Still in my head, im thinking the worst. "Did I fart, did someone complain about me, im sending bad emails, they hate my hair.Etc" All possibilities were running wild in my head.

An hour or so passed, im already inking and prepping one of the pieces for color, and right there my supervisor calls out to me and tells me to go to our Director's office (yep the director of our department) that he will meet me there shortly and in my mind, im gonna get scolded for reals.

Now, i go in to my director's office, and my director has a permanent serious poker face. Their by, hes pretty unreadable. So he asks me to sit down and im still nervous as all hell. In walks my supervisor, takes a seat and closes the door and with out missing a beat, Our Director gives a loud clap and says "GOOD MORNING!" "Well, Ivy the reason we have called you in this morning is to tell you that We are very impressed with your work, the enterprise is VERY happy with your work and we would like to offer you a full-time position" :)

I was floored and I almost started to cry of tears of joy. So they told me I was gonna start this passed Monday

and before then i had to color my hair cuz i still had some blueish/green in it and Im gonna be subjected to having a high chance of visitors either form them or the president of the company, so i do have to look office friendly. And in 90 days i will also have a medical plan.

I couldn't be more happier. Its kinda funny to look back and know that i did work as part-time for a whole month and now being full-time so fast, My other job wasn't like that. It was always temporary.

But anyways, this passed week was crazy as well. I had 2 projects added on while i was still working on that big list, but I guess its to be expected. So again i really apologize for my inactivity here, Ive just barely have any time. I miss so many of you guys, i really do.
