You all know I HATE doing this...but once again, I'm desperate.

Thanks to the few donations I received last week, my wife and I were able to get back to her mother's house from her grandparent's place when they kicked us out. We have no income again, and no prospects.

A week before Thanksgiving, I received a decision on my Disability - it was denied. Again. Basically since the only records they have that show the degeneration in my spine are two-year-old x-rays, they were able to deny it because it doesn't show the kind of damage that would cause the level of pain I "claim" to experience.

OF COURSE it doesn't show that much damage - two YEARS have passed, and it's a chronic DEGENERATIVE condition. That means it gets WORSE OVER TIME. The fact that they used that loophole to get out of awarding it to me has me so angry... They claim I should be able to stand six hours of an eight hour work day. I can't stand for ten fucking MINUTES without having to lean on something. Another ten and I'm gasping in pain and all I can focus on is getting to somewhere to lessen it.

My nerve damage is getting worse - I can't even type more than a paragraph before I lose feeling in my hands and have to drop them down. Drawing takes an insanely long time, but I can at least still DO it, for the most part.

To put it as simply as possible - I'm desperate. I need $1600 at the very least in the next few days to get this month's bills paid. Thankfully we have food stamps to cover groceries, so food isn't an issue...but stamps don't cover toiletries and other sundries. I'm not factoring the holidays into this - I'll be honest, it doesn't look like there will BE holidays for us this year. Money is too tight...or, rather, nonexistent.

Please...PLEASE. Even if you can only spare a few bucks...anything will help us. We need to get our insurance and medical bills paid. We need to make sure we keep possession of our car - it's our only mode of transportation (public transport around here sucks and is highly unreliable - not to mention that walking to bus stops isn't really an option in either of our conditions).

I know it's the holidays, I know money is tight for everyone...But please. I need help. You all have come through for us before - our lives are pretty much in your hands at the moment.
