I take it you're not running multiple instances of it then (PC, phone, etc.) or you don't run Windows 8. In my case one session is always kept alive for reasons I have yet to understand and it gives contacts a false impression of me being there when I'm actually not. Recently I discovered that my workaround, setting my status to appear offline, doesn't work anymore because status isn't synced properly since the newest version. The only way to get rid of those is to use /remotelogout and verify with /showplaces to see if every session was terminated. That is rather bothersome and I suspect it's the Windows 8 version of Skype operating in a tablet oriented kinda mode, waking the device from stand-by when a new message arrives. But that doesn't work for stationary PCs, even when shut off comepletely the session isn't terminated. It's all just a hassle I'm growing tired of.
