We were alright for awhile - we were being paid by my wife's grandfather to do 24/7 live-in care for her grandmother. Bills were covered. Then, abruptly, day before yesterday, he decided that she had gotten well enough...and booted us out.

The very day we found out we were booted out of where we'd been basically living at that point, I also got a letter from Social Security. They denied my disability, again. What's worse, what happened is that the medical person they brought in basically said that based on the x-rays and imagining studies they have for me (which are over 2 years old at this point - yes, I as much more mobile two years ago!) say I can't possibly be experiencing the level of pain that I'm experiencing.

Basically the impartial medical adviser called me a liar.

As if I don't know what levels of pain I live with on a day-to-day basis...

There is one more appeal, we have 60 days to put it together, and I'll need to get all new x-rays, MRIs, and whatever else they might need, all within that time so my lawyer can submit it.

In the mean time, we are once again without income, and overwhelmed with bills to pay.

PLEASE, even if you can only spare a couple of dollars, tossing it my way would be incredibly helpful. I really appreciate it. I'm desperate, and I have a hell of a lot of bills to pay...and as it is, the holidays coming up are going to be miserable.

Please help. You guys are literally all I've got here.
