Turkey day is almost upon us here in the states, and I recognize that this is the season in which most people tend to spend more time with family. Christmas music will start up and make us wish we were deaf after the first week of it. The chill is already in the air, particularly for my friends and family up north. Even down here where palm trees grow, there was ice on my car this morning. I fear for our loquat crop my be lost again, but the season is only just upon us and it's too early to tell for sure since they won't be ripe until spring. I really want to make a cobbler with them.
