Another yearly FA drama.. everytime we have people who leave FA just to come back again in 1 week xP

10 months to be exact, actually. And that's counting back from the whole Zaush exodus.
It's our job... No.. Responsibility, as art lovers and furries/generally good, honest people, to finally put our feet down and say 'Enough is Enough!' when it comes to Dragoneer's ineptitude, nepotism and abysmal sense of character for those he's hired in the past (and will most likely hire in the future), as well as his continued lies and broken promises...

The ONLY reason(s) people even think they HAVE to go back to FA, is because of it's large user base, and the income they garner from being there, or because they have friends there, or some other such reason. Well, guess what. If the artists/art moves... the customers will eventually follow.. Just give it time, and don't expect it to just Happen, and give up when it doesn't meet your expectations.. =\
And while financial security through FA is a 'good' (i use the word loosely) reason to stay on FA, staying for your friends is the shittiest excuse ever... Last i checked, FA wasn't the end all be all for intercommunication between friends... There's things like Skype, Yahoo, Google, AIM, MSN (if anyone even still uses that), or even Secondlife and Facebook... No one is by any means without options to keep in touch with people outside of the cesspit that is FA..
I understand it's not really that easy, and won't be an instant fix, but the longer people stick around FA, the more corrupt it is going to get, because Dragoneer expects everyone to just sweep the drama under the rug as if nothing ever happened, as the past has quite sadly proven time and again.

Since Dragoneer bought Furaffinity from Alkora back in '07, the site has more or less been at a standstill, with only extremely minor tweaks and changes to the UI and MINOR functionality 'improvements'... It took them how long just to get the search function working (again)? Let alone the tagging/tag blocking system... (which, to my knowledge at least, both of those functions worked off the bat with Weasyl, which is only around 2 years old...)

It may be a little late now to apologize, but i'm sorry for the rant.. I'm just sick and tired of people thinking this is 'the norm' for FA, when it is CLEARLY, not the norm for other furry art sites... I'm also sick of others expecting that everyone who decides to leave FA, will just come back within a week with their tail's between their legs... It's not helping anyone in the long run, and only serves to demoralize those who Did decide to (read: Have to) go back... more often than not, because of financial stresses that could unfortunately, not be met by the clientele on Weasyl, or any other site you may decide to call 'home'
