happy halloween :) by insanejoker

Happy Halloween!

I painted my face as a sugarskull :D I did a pretty decent job. I need to use better tools for black lines and better white face paint, but it wasn't bad. It did come off a lot easier than I thought, which is good 'cause I work tomorrow morning. XD

I used pink and purple for the eyes. The trick or treat-ers said they liked my face. XD I was like yeaaa inspiring the youth.

So yea. Hope ya'll had a good halloween too.

happy halloween :)

belated, but happy halloween yourself. Did you put teh white down first or over another color?

I just put the white down first. It was from Wet n' wild fantasy factory palette, so it wasn't great application wise. But it came off with just hot water so that's a plus :)

oh yeah that prolly isn't very good. I use stuff called paradise AQ, and it comes off with soap and water too, but the black might stain a bit on your skin for a while and test to make sure its not going to stain your bathtub, if you care. I think that can be scrubbed off though (I think). Certain colors you don't want to put near your eyes and/or mouth and it says which. You can get it at some brick and mortar costume stores but might just wan to get some online. They sell pallets with multiple colors or larger single colors. A small amount lasts a /while/. It's got some cocobutter in it /i think. It's water based but it isn't flakey and its nice and smooth and smells good. I recommend using filtered water with it as I /think/ what was happening to me a few times, is the tap water had something in it that might have been causing some discoloration in some of the paint. Also you might want to get some "barrier spray" which you can put on to help hold make-up on. Its like a like hairspray for your skin. Regular hairspray might work, actually idk. I put it on between applications of the body paint sometimes to halp hold it on for application of multiple base layers of color.
