laptop troubles please help by oukamiyoukai

I really hate to ask for help, but I can't put it off anymore.

My laptop screen has been busted. It happened yesterday afternoon while we were cleaning, my sister picked it up tripped and dropped it. Now the screen is showing nothing but grey lines and I have little hope of being able to fix it in my current situation.

My laptop is my only form of income with it gone I literately have nothing.

Any donations would be a supper big help. I can't promise much but I can make sketches and take photos of them if I have to.
I really dislike having to ask for your support, but I just don't know what else I can do right now.

my paypal is youngerash@gmail.com
I'll try to find a way to give you something back I swear.

I know this isn't monetary help (sorry), but if your laptop has an hdmi port and you have an hdtv, you could use the tv as an extra screen. I do believe windows defaults to mirroring, so you might be able to use a tv until you get it replaced, hopefully? If not, it should have a dvi port and if you or a friend have an extra computer monitor laying around, you could do a hookup for that instead.
If it doesn't seem to work more or less immediately, there should be a shortcut on the keyboard for monitor or projector settings, likely on one of the f# keys, and if you hit fn+that Windows should autoconnect to an output it finds.

My apologies if these don't work for you for whatever reason;; I don't know if monitor extensions are common knowledge.
