Commissions Opened! by Daire

Hey gang! I'm finally getting done with moving into my new place, and I've pretty much got my office set up.
And now that I've finally got back on my ADD meds after a week or two, I'm able to get back into the swing of things with work.
So, that means you can start sending me notes with commissions you were interested in getting!

If you've already paid me, chances are I already have you on my to-do list/queue, but please send me a note with a brief summary of the work I owe you and the email address attached to your paypal payment, as well as the date of the payment, just to be sure! My system is flawed and at times I do accidentally miss someone, as I am just a one-man work force.

The following guidelines will be your half of the contract, upon paying via invoice. Failure to follow through, read, understand, or agree to the terms on the end of the customer does not invalidate payment or entitle a refund. Payment implies the customers understanding of their purchase and the terms of commission guidelines. Refunds will not be issued once payment is made. Work will only begin upon completion of payment.

Commission Guidelines:

  • Be detailed when you are describing what you want, this saves both you and I time. I don't want notes coming through several days later with information you forgot to mention. It clutters my inbox, and it clutters my head. Something will almost always be forgotten upon completion of the final product as a result.

  • Provide References. Visual references are preferred, and if something is not visually apparent in the references you provide, written reference will be satisfactory.

  • Be prepared to pay upon sending your first note. This is a business after all, and I don't really enjoy holding slots for people that can't pay until next week. Because that means I can't get started working for you until next week. You don't go to McDonalds or a grocery store and ask to pay next week. And sadly, freelancers can't accept credit! :P

  • Be absolutely sure that my artwork is what you want. I don't check in with WIPs. Once I start on your piece, I work it from start to finish, and post it upon completion. And I don't do Redo's.

  • Pay via invoice. I'll be sending an invoice to you via email to receive payment. This makes my process of paying taxes significantly easier. SO, include an email address you check regularly in the note you send me!

  • No refunds. Be sure this is what you want before you've made a payment.

  • Wait times. My commission queue is not always my highest priority in relation to my work. If you are not willing to prepare for wait-times upwards of a month or two, please don't commission me. Thank you for understanding :)
