So, I went to my first comic convention... by Sid Bane

It was pretty much just a small, local comic convention, but it was still pretty fun. I was able to bring my computer and talk to a bunch of other artists about my comic pitch, as well as get some advice on pitching to major publishers and/or self-publishing. Got a lot of good feedback on my comic, which was pretty cool.
On another note, it's always really great to see how nice and approachable many of the artists were. I always get stupidly nervous when talking to people and feel like a suck at explaining my ideas verbally. So yeah, ... props to these guys for putting up with my weiner-ish "Hurr, hurr, I'm sorry, I'm so nervous this is my first time doing anything like this..." and "I'm sorry. I'm not bothering you, am I? I hope I'm not bothering you."

I also got a Cthulu-themed dice game.

On a side note- I got one of the cosplayers coming up to me and telling me "nice costume". It was kind of weird, since the only "costumey" thing I was wearing was a black cowboy hat.
I always wear that hat...
I'm totally not sure what to think of that. :/

So, I went to my first comic convention...

Maybe they though you were a cowboy?

    A space cowboy.

Yes. A space cowboy, riding through the cosmos on my trusty robotic space stallion!
