So taken along by a few of my friends from long ago, I went to visit FACTS in Ghent today.
Apparently it's an annual sci-fi, fantasy and comics convention that lasts the weekend, and, well, I was invited to come along.

It was quite fun seeing all these people walking around, dressed like popular animé/cartoon, video game and/or just television characters.
I personally came across the six Power Rangers, Solaire of Astora and a few incarnations of Doctor Who for example.
There was also a workshop chock full of fully operational R2-D2 and similar models of astromechs from the Star Wars saga, and Christopher Judge (Stargate SG-1) and Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk, 1970s I think) were also around from a certain hour for Q&A stands.

There were even a few furries around, including a wolf guy with robot arms or something.
And even some Eurofurence attendants...
Speaking of which, perhaps I could attend a furry convention sometime.
But when I'm ready, and I'm in a suitable state to try on a fursuit of my own.

I might not be very emotive or expressive in general, but I'm glad to have gone today.
It was relatively fun seeing a lot of new people, and I don't regret wearing my feet out for the day even if just for the strange sights that I could behold.
