good movie for anyone really, but really really great to see a fun animated film catering to a group of people who gets very little representation and respect

I'm Mexican too, and I was a bit nervous about watching it 'cause I didn't know what to expect, but they did an amazing job and I was super happy about it being directed and produced by Mexicans, as well as Mexican actors for the voices, weh. uwu

i saw it this morning it was soooo cute
and god YES it was so cool seeing a story originating from something other than european culture (man do those get boring after a while lmao)-
honestly im still fuming about how the movie had gotten turned down so many times for "not having an audience or demographic" and im like
lmao its a story about love and strength and being true to yourself what do you mean it has no audience. oh yeah, its not eurocentric, of course of course

I saw it last night with my best friend, it was amazing. The colors, the folkloric look, the style, the characters. It was so good. ;_;
