I get real tired of seeing people whine and complain that the fandom/people are preventing them from doing what they want.

It sure as hell doesn’t stop people from making rainbow colored vampire/demon/wolf/unicorn/pop stars! So unless these people are physically standing over you and slapping your hand away when you try to draw or type, then no one is stopping you.

Ya wanna know a fun fact? Most people don’t give a shit about you’re characters unless they are already watching you. No one’s going to hunt you down. At most you will get a few snarky jerks, big whoop! I’ve seen tons of horrible character designs and people just adore them. It’s actually pretty rare for people to get a lot of hate- the design is either spectacularly bad, and/or the person just makes such a huge fuss that it brings in the trolls, in the rare cases.
Most people are not going to put in the effort to harass you over a character design. Anyone that does is a jerk and you can just block them.

If you're going to avoid doing something because someone MIGHT say something mean about it, then don't bother complaining. Actually, quit complaining that people don't like something. Very few people are going out of their way for something they just don't like. Enough of this "the whole fandom is mean because some fans don't like [insert whatever]!!!!"

Quit playing a victim and saying its everyone else’s fault.
