Ayn Rand is very... ahem, "near and dear" to my heart. Oh, Ayn Rand, you were such an exercise in narcissism (possibly even sociopathy) and psychological projection and provided inspiration for decades of exercises in narcissism (also possibly even sociopathy) and psychological projection to come. You are responsible gobs and gobs of internet pseudo-intellectualism and maybe even a persecution complex or two. You are responsible for atheists who are nigh-indistinguishable from religious zealots beyond a lack of belief in the supernatural and a shift in justification-of-douchiness from poorly-understood holy texts to completely-misunderstood Darwinism.

What I'm trying to say is:
Ayn Rand: how is she still a thing!?
