Game of get to work, you lazy bums by DeRiften

Monday: Worked on my Animation project's gameplay as planned and it's advancing pretty well; especially compared to the rest of the class who still haven't done basic animations.

Tuesday: Teacher saw nobody was advancing well with the ants so he gave us an extra two weeks to finish it, the catch being that he added more things to do and made it count for more since we'll have pretty much no time to work on the final project. I finishing hybridizing my raytracing algorithm and I also finished the grid scanning, I only need to test the both of 'em before incorporating it to the main code (which I don't have because, of course, it's not done yet).

Wednesday: Kept working on my animation project in class, fixed a few bugs and kept sighing at how little the others did. Even the teacher is deeply discouraged and keeps reminding them that they're all in danger if they keep doing nothing.

Thursday: I had trouble sleeping that night and woke up with terrible leg pain. So bad, in fact, that I had to stay home that day and couldn't do much. I organized the Hansoft project for methodologies and UI but the tasks are terribly distributed and the girl is deadset on controlling everything even sick as she is, which does more harm than good since her constantly irritable mood and fatigue makes her completely worthless at everything, especially organization. She keeps undoing everything I do in the Hansoft project and calling me an idiot but every time I told her to shut the hell up and start working, she starts yelling around that I'm not being cooperative and that nothing I do is right, all the while she butchers everything she does and doesn't follow any set standard in neither Hansoft nor Perforce. She does the graphics though, so I just use the nod-and-smile technique and keep redoing everything she undoes; she's too tired to notice anyway.

Friday: Still in a foul mood from the day before but with much less leg pain, I went to class and worked some more on my animations project since I had nothing else to do 'cause the task distribution is so terrible I can't even start my part before she's finished hers, meaning I'll probably be doing everything at the last minute unless she gets sicker before then. I'm starting to hope she does, for the sake of the team. Good thing she said she wouldn't be doing any work, that she'd only coordinate the team to make sure the other guy keeps working. Bah.

Saturday/Sunday: Needing a lot of rest from that shitty week and not having much to do, I could spare the time to relax and take it easy. I bought some chips, a nice 'lil South African red from Blackburn Cape, an amazing 'lil bottle of spicy Jamaican ginger ale, ordered tuna & anchovies pizza and... watched two seasons and a half of Game of Thrones. Oh man the time just flew by, I just now remember I have more work to do than I'd thought. I have to test my algorithms which means manually writing a testing map and setting up the game so it works without the main code to test just what I need. Then I have to do some research about writing, loading and analyzing config files in Unity for when I can start my share of the work and finally, I received a new, suspiciously advanced-looking project for useless rendering. Oh well, I guess I'll catch up tomorrow. For now... it's a shame I don't have enough time left to watch another episode, I guess I'll read an extra chapter instead.
