I owe everyone an update about my recent journal ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4118051/ ).

Thanks to a couple of great furs and their donations, I was able to get my last rounds of prescriptions, and make sure that my fiancee and I have food for the rest of the year.

However, and no matter much has been done and how unfair it is...it hasn't been enough.

Tomorrow I have to go in for an ultrasound/mammogram. No, this isn't just a routine "well woman" exam.

I have a lump in my left breast, up toward where it meets my chest. It's about the size of the last joint of a thumb - oblong and maybe an inch around from what I can feel. When my doctor felt it she insisted I get it checked out as soon as possible.

Because I don't have insurance, I don't know how much this is going to cost - especially if they have to go on and do a biopsy...or even surgery.

Now, as a lot of you know, I'm a bit transgender, so the concept of losing my breasts isn't as heartwrenching as it is for some women. And no matter what happens to me, my fursona will retain her shape and form.

What I'm most worried about is whether or not I'll be able to pay for whatever they have to do. So once again, I'm appealing to the good natures of others. What follows below is the same information from my last journal, including relevant links for commission information - with one addition:

For $21-50, you get a full body flat color character with a gradient background.

For $51-over, we'll discuss in notes and see what I can do for you.

Of course this is all provided I'm physically capable of doing art after whatever goes down tomorrow, but I'm going to remain optimistic and keep you guys up to date.

I need commissions for art - but I work slowly. My muse is fickle and deserts me for months at a time without warning.
