So recently I haven't been very active in terms of art. It's because things have been going on in my life, including finally getting a job and also now having a mate. My mate is of course a guy and he is awesome, but the relationship is long distance as he lives in California. As difficult as a long distance relationship can be, well, me and him have been trying it on and off for a while and the fact that he's someone I've wanted to go back to definitely says something as in the past I've been with a couple of sociopaths without realizing it and I'm really thankful I got out of those relationships. o.o;
Aside from that, I have my own home in Second Life, and even though my job is part time, I am still getting used to it and it is a sort of physically demanding job... for me anyway, as I am not used to moving so much. And my fursona has changed again. As far as I can tell I'm starting to get better at keeping fursonas for extended periods of time. The takselleck lasted for four or five months, which is really a record for me.
This fursona's excuses for existing: It was a really, really nice avatar in Second Life; I have discovered things about my personality that I have overlooked for the longest time that make me sound a lot like a dragon, including, but not limited to, hoarding, occasionally enjoying power, not liking being cold, enjoying heat (as long as sweat isn't involved x.x); various personal reasons that might make me sound crazy; my mate helped me with it and he said it fits me well; and I'm hoping that the dragon as a species will be enough to not change again.
If you're going to recommend being a shape-shifter, don't even bother. Due to my past, I have a lot of problems with being one, so it's a no.
As far as other excuses for not drawing, I don't really have any except for procrastination and laziness. I'm not really one to make up silly excuses for something almost trivial for me.
That's basically it for right now.
