Disappointed... by Python Blue

For anyone here wondering where I've been, what I said before about classes became only part of the reason.

For nearly a week, I was working on trying to understand floppy disks and whether the sounds one of my synths stored on them could be transferred to my computer. Turns out my best shot there is MIDI Sample Dump Standard: there is no convenient way to export anything beyond the raw samples used to make presets due to the floppy format. All of the solutions I've seen involve spending excess and/or assembly skills.

Thankfully, I'm done with that, now, partially because I'm growing to realize it isn't even that big of a deal: the only thing I need floppies for is to boot the synth, a process that doesn't require reading or writing to it on my computer, and even then, the synth is not the primary instrument I use in my music.

Disappointed...

In some ways, it was even despite the tech geek I am.

      Thanks for the comment.
