I enjoyed Christmas yesterday. The presents I got were $50 spending money, a USB phonograph, a DVD set with 27 Christmas cartoons and 12 Christmas movies, a pair of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sleep pants, two new pairs of pants, two new shirts, a new hat, a new pair of gloves, a bar of soap, new socks, and a box of food I wanted to split with my mom. For dinner, we had ham, baked potatoes, and dinner rolls. For dessert, we had chocolate cream pie. During the day, I had been ripping my vinyl records to my computer with the phonograph my mom gave me, watched A Christmas Story on TBS, and watched Home Alone on ABC Family. I spent my $50 on two VHS tapes - Duran Duran: Decade and The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room + The Terrible Termite, two Betamax tapes - Styx: Caught in the Act - Live and Bryan Adams: Reckless, and the DVD box set of Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream. As an early Christmas gift, a friend of mine in town took me to see The Hobbit in 3D on the day after it first screened. I had a great time and I hope everyone had a great Christmas this year.
