Monday: Made the command line demo and sent it to my teammate, but that's all I did because of the heat. Animation was pretty uneventful.

Tuesday: Teammate was sick so she didn't come. It's a shame 'cause the AI class was super important and extremely useful since we spent the entire class watching the teacher code. He did that 'cause according to him, the average for the AI project was terrible and we needed the help. Then in methodologies, we kept playing with Perforce, nothing difficult.

Wednesday: We started talking about the animation semester project and wrote a plan to follow, but teammate was still feeling sickly. Thankfully this one is an individual project 'cause neither of 'em had started working on their part of the UI project yet so they planned to work all night and not sleep at all.

Thursday: Surely enough, they didn't sleep at all, but still managed to not do much since the new GUI system is apparently not as easy as it looks and since it's a beta, there's no tutorials or manuals about it yet. I ended up helping 'em during the class instead of working in methodologies since we started talking about the semester project but couldn't start it yet 'cause we have to coop with another class to do it; we'll know more details Thuesday. Ends up even though they worked on the UI project literally all night, they STILL managed to not look at my demo so surprise, I had to guide them through it, it was a complete waste of time, it didn't meet their demands and I didn't have time to fix it 'cause yanno, nine hours of class that day, the project was due the next day and unlike them who are both nocturnal and always show up half dead at class during the day, I like to sleep at night. Also that day I read something on Facebook about Coke being jealous of Lays' flavor contests and deciding to make their own by releasing garlic coke. Apparently there was a tasting in every big grocery store in Quebec two days later so I figured I'd do the groceries on Saturday to see if it was true; I hoped not 'cause c'mon, garlic coke.

Friday: They didn't sleep all night once again so 48 hours later, the project was terribly botched and buggy, they couldn't make it work and the teacher just glanced at it before saying it'd be wise to take the late penalty and work on it for another day. I stayed out of it and let 'em work another all-nighter since I'm sick of working with 'em. Doesn't help that after we finished watching the teacher code, he started handing out the notes for the AI project nobody finished, reviewing their code and stuff. It took until half an hour after the class was over for it to be my turn, and oh boy. He said I had lost lots of points because my project was late so when I told him that was bullshit, he said he's pretty manic about punctuality so he wouldn't be wrong about something like that. When I insisted that it's impossible I'd be late, that I'm early for everything and that I handed over the project the day before, he flat out said he didn't like me and started to shit on my code, nitpicking about completely meaningless things, not being constructive about it and saying that the way I did it wasn't right 'cause it wasn't how he did it and that I needed to work on my time management 'cause he thinks the questions I asked him were useless, a waste of his time and asked way too late into the project, which is bullshit since I asked 'em halfway and it was him who took freaking four days to reply, just to say it was too simple and that I shouldn't need help. Suffice it to say, I was pissed off for the rest of the day. I mean it just insults me that someone who whine to me about my punctuality and time management when I'm the most punctual in class and one of the most organized, especially when most people in class are a complete mess, always and I mean ALWAYS late on a regular basis and always rush their work at the very last minute before panicking because surprise, the project is harder than they expected and they ran out of time and haven't slept in three days.

Saturday: Calmed down from the day before, I went to do the groceries and thankfully, garlic coke isn't a real thing. Spent the rest of the day playing Galactiv Civilizations II and started a new game of The Sims 4 with a whole family on normal speed. Couldn't do much else 'cause the Internet's been barely existent since the day before.

Sunday: Internet was even worse so I spent a good part of the day playing Galactic Civilizations II again, reading a few chapters of my book (I actually really like the reading-a-chapter-by-lamplight-before-going-to-sleep idea, I think I'll keep doing that and finally catch up with the books I've had for ages, AKA Game of Thrones) and after supper, I got sick of doing nothing so I figured I might as well work on my ants and I finished the ray-tracing algorithm... then optimized it... then reviewed it... then got it reviewed by someone else. Hey, when you don't have Internet, might as well work eh? Advantage is that it's a beautiful work of art so if the teacher shits on it, he'll have to have a REAL good reason to do so.
