I just got back from MFM (http://www.mephitfurmeet.org/) and I had a really great time. After having a minor emotional breakdown at work and just a lot of stress in general, I really needed and enjoyed the vacation (the atmosphere and people really helped a lot, too). If you saw me at the con and I seemed a little exhausted/reserved/nonresponsive/irritable/whatever, that's part of the reason why.
This was my... tenth? eleventh? year going to this particular convention and certainly not the last. As usual, I spent most of my time in the game room playing board games with friends and strangers. Which is usually what I do at any con (seeing as I only really go to two - this one and Midsouthcon - I really do not like to travel, it's exhausting and gives me the constipation [if you know me, this is not news; if you don't know me: SURPRISE!])
Um... I'm super exhausted from all that high powered relaxation, now and I think I will go take a nap before this devolves into even less coherent rambling.

If I didn't see you at the con: You're still awesome! Maybe I'll see you next year... or somewhere/-when else...
