Ok! So I have some fantastic news. Thanks to the donations, we were able to get our bank account out of the red, and had about $30 over that for essentials.

I've also just finished the application process for our state's version of food stamps, which will hopefully help us not run out of funds so fast in the future, though I don't know if I've been approved, yet. The caseworker who called me to finish the application seemed confident I would be - especially given that I'm going for Disability.

We still are going to need funds for any food the stamps don't cover, and gas and sundries like toilet paper and shampoo (also not covered under the program) but hopefully this should make things a LOT easier.

However, we will ALWAYS take donations, and until I hear from that commissioner that flaked on me again, commissions are officially reopened. So if you've been waiting on that to get something from me, please go ahead and commission away!
