;w; music died by Donro

Gangam style hit 1 billion views on facebook... For a terrible pointless song that's mighty impressive, then you see a david guetta song in the same link has 67 mil hits which is insane for a worthless hack dj with a back catalouge of identical songs

I went to check comfortably numb and it had 17 mil views, while my guitar gently weeps 9 mil, baba o reily 9 mil

However hallelujah by jeff buckley has 35 mil hits, some hope restored ;w;

    It's cause David Guetta's song is pretty much sad feelings, pushing back. While Gangnam Style is a mockery of Korean's high society and the current situation and pretty much about having fun, boosting some moves. Plus seen much better version's of David Guetta's on youtube. Like by the Piano Guys, they made that song seem way more impressive and amazing.

    But seriously, anything that makes you happy will always win over something rational. We try to have fun, we don't want to be emo about many things. There is Lindsey Stirling <3 I love her music cause she is playing a violin without a serious face, she is having fun! She's enjoying her music, and her dancing, and doing what she feels, being herself.

    You see Psy, doing what he likes to do no matter what people think of him. That's why music doesn't die as long as people do what they want to do. Music is not a higher form of art, music is an art of expressing feelings. Although thanks to youtube we can see more of this now, as people share their work.

      I can get that, but the fact people only like psy's song for the fact it's a fad is kinda sad, like you said he's making fun of the gangam district of seoul but how many people know that, they just go HAHAHAH FUNNY DANCE :<

      People can like what they want, I personally feel the quality of music has deteriorated since I was younger

        Pfft. The 80's had the greatest music just like anything behind that, only a few songs are good past that point. Even cartoons had the most amazing music back then. Now we get crap.
