10 Things About Me

1. I was once…a maaaaannnnnn… Okay, no, but I am a trans guy, female-to-male and all that. Not on T (testosterone, for you neophytes) yet, though I intend to get top surgery (boobs cut off) before I do HRT (hormone replacement therapy. Basically T, again), anyway. BUT YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNEW THAT.

2. I have two cats, Zi and Bipsy. Technically, Bip is my sister’s cat, but didn’t take her along now that she’s moved out. Bip has de facto-ed to my parents’ cat, but when I move out, I’ll be taking both our girls along. Zi is my baby.

3. I was involved in a unicorn otherkin community way before I ever heard the term “otherkin”. Also I learned about otherkin way before I ever heard of furries. Actually, I’m still kinda confused about the furries who don’t have a spiritual draw to the community or their fursonas, and am always interested as to who they are, and what brought them into the community. And whether it was just good porn, or what!

4. I love cartoons. A lot. So much so, I’m an animator. Yeah, I’m going to school to be an animator! It is full of interesting, and lots of hard work!

5. Spiritually, I’m some sort of weird polymorph thing (I usually just say shifter), and it’s weird, and I don’t understand it. My regular form is Sonic the Hedgehog, and that’s what I consider my real name, and I’m weird. The form I was first aware of was my alicorn form. And I’ve discovered or picked up others along the way. I really don’t know how it works, and sometimes I freak out over it. I avoid otherkin communities, mostly because of how much I feel my authenticity would be doubted. Cuz seriously, my identity looks like the biggest mishmash pile of everything up to and including the kitchen sink, ever. I try to be open about it, and I have some really good friends that accept me for who I am, but I’m always terrified of trashing my chances to get to know people.

6. THAT WAS PRETTY SERIOUS. Umm…I blame Spongebob for the demise of shows I really liked like the Angry Beavers, due to their being taken off the air at roughly the same time as Spongebob first broke.

7. I don’t like wearing clothes.

8. When I do wear clothes, my seeming mish-mash is actually really carefully chosen in a way I don’t think about unless I have to deliberately cross-dress (i.e. wear girl clothes to go with my girl body in a way that hurts my soul), or dress “out of costume”. Basically, my ratty t-shirts and shorts are picked specifically to emphasize to myself and everyone else that I’m a guy, and that’s that. Getting out of costume really gets me to freak out, sometimes.

9. Continuing on the clothes theme, I want to start making my own clothes, because I feel like that would ultimately take LESS effort and pain then fighting with buying them!

   According to Wikipedia: “After waning support from the network executives, constant time slot changes, and steps to redevelop the series (including re-casting the voice of Robot), Greg Miller left the show and Robot Jones was cancelled during its second season.”

   Pay Devo royalties, then whip it good!

4. Who is your favorite Chaser on "The Chase"?
   I’VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THIS BEFORE BEING ASKED. NO ONE!

5. What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?
   African or European? As far as European goes, this article estimates the average cruising velocity at roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles an hour.

   Sometimes, yes.

7. What's your favorite Game Boy/Color game?
   Never had a Game Boy ’til the DS Lite! I did have an SNK Neo Geo (still do, actually) with Sonic Pocket Adventure (and no other games. Eh, who needs ‘em!) and actually, that’s probably my favorite handheld game. Favorite Game Boy game? I’m gonna hafta go with Sonic Chronicles Dark Brotherhood right now. Cuz c’mon, that thing is AWESOME. And dude? BEST CREDITS EVER.

8. What's your least favorite book?
   AH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!! Definitely the House of Night novels. Yanno what everyone says about Twilight? About how the vampires suck cuz they’re not “REAL” vampires (i.e. true to lore), and that Bella is Pants and has no discernible character and yadda, yadda, yadda? TWILIGHT’S GOT NOTHING ON HOUSE OF NIGHT. Most flip-floppy, Mary Sue, horrible protagonist I’ve ever seen in a professionally published story! Only point it has over Twilight is the lack of abusive relationships for the main character, but oh gods, oh gods, it sure as hell makes up for it with cultural appropriation and horribleness!

9. What would you do for a Klondike bar?
   -_- Nothing. Absolutely nothing. WHICH IS WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO BECOME! But yeah, seriously, those things are gross.

10. How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
    Yanno, I actually did manage to do this once…but forgot the total. And anyway, who licks a Tootsie Pop! Those suckers are suckers! For sucking!
