Worked on my ant game yesterday to try and make my ants move randomly but for some reason they move randomly... but in random intervals, in random directions, until they change their mind. Plus all ants act the opposite of its predecessor. Tried debugging and after looking for a while, I think since the game's engine is coded in Python, it may be partly incompatible with C++11, whose randoms I use, meaning I'll have to convert to the old randoms and see if that fixes it. This is the only solution I can think of, seeing as I only added one freaking line of code and it's almost the same everyone else is using successfully.

Other than that, from my animation class Monday I got some homework: watch a few tutorial videos before the next class. So I did, after I came back from my massage today. Massage did lots of good but my left foot still hurts and my right foot keeps going numb. Massage therapist said I should see a podiatrist if it continues so tomorrow if it still hurts, I'll call to book a rendezvous and hope social welfare covers it. So once I got back home, I sat down and started watching the tutorial videos. Thought it'd take about half an hour or so but three hours and a half later, I was done and bored to death. Learned quite a bit from those videos but the pacing was horribly slow and the guy who made 'em obnoxious. You know, the kind who keeps trying to make jokes and funny noises but only ends up being awkward and annoying? Yeah, that kind.

After that, I didn't have much time to do much else so I watched a few more videos and went to class. After learning a bit of new stuff, I found out is really due for next class but that we have to actually do what's in 'em so I got home early and still bored to death from the videos earlier... so I watched some more videos. I was in the mood for gaming but all the games sounded boring to me. Tried playing Minecraft, nobody around. Tried playing Garry's Mod, nobody around. Tried playing Final Fantasy VIII, got bored from terribly stiff and unresponsive port controls. Tried playing SimCity 4 Deluxe, SNES version is better and simpler. Tried playing DC Universe Online but it had too many updates and the DLC I got isn't working. So I watched some more videos.

Bored bored bored, I'm gonna go sleep and tomorrow I'll start working on my animation homework during the rendering class.
