Started recording again today, and this time I didn't slack. Ends up the thing that was giving me audio sync issues is Movie Maker, whose codecs aren't fully compatible with 720p, so I tried some more video editing software. Tried YouTube Movie Maker, t'was simple to use and had effective edits, but when I tried to export the video I found out you need to pay to export in HD, so screw that. Tried VideoPad and this one seems promising. I can not only export videos in 720p, but also in 1080p, it's free, has plenty of codecs and supports .avi, so tomorrow I'll try recording in 1080p.

The problem I'm having with it, though, because of course there's a problem, is that it doesn't handle VBR audio so today's recording was pretty trashy. Tomorrow though, I'll try recording in CBR so the audio file will be bigger but it's negligible. Other than that, I played the Last Remnant for a bit till it was time to leave for my date. First bus went well, but the second one my card wouldn't work because it's a Laval bus and apparently, Laval and Montreal don't have the same bus system despite being basically in the same place. Thankfully though, the driver was nice and told me the ride was free this time so I arrived at the restaurant, drank two cups of coffee and glasses of water 'cause I was nervous and he finally arrived.

He's cuter than I expected, and shy too! It was only awkward for a minute or two till we found something to talk about, but then it was cruise control for a good three hours and a half, which is an hour and half longer than what I had expected. Really went better than I expected, especially since it was my first date ever. At 9:30pm we parted ways after a hug, and I missed my bus by a few minutes so I had to wait an hour for the next one to arrive.
