well, i've had this account for a while, and i figure this is a good time as ever to make an intro post ? ? ? sure there's a fair amount of personal info on my blog but. this feels more personal i guess. i don't know how many journal entries i'm gonna make on this website since my tumblr basically takes care of the journal thing for me, but
augh i'm rambling!!! sorry i tend to do that a lot. i guess i better get started?
hello i am the avery! i live in seattle and right now i'm struggling to get out of a few bad spots in life, but i'm trying my best to make my life better and that's really all i can do! i like sweets and other foodstuffs, and i'd consider myself a gourmet but i still love some of the trashiest foods so i'm not sure where that puts me on the food lover scale. right now i really like cream puffs. they're pretty good with powdered sugar on top.
i've only been drawing for a short while (2 years), so i'm sorry if my art's rather unrefined! i work hard to improve every day and i hope my hard work is paying off :-3 i hope to make many new friends here and share my art with nice people who will warm my eerie heart *m*
thanks for reading all of that! what's your favourite kind of sweet food? if you don't like sweets much, then, umm... what food are you totally crazy about right now?

yeah I do not have the biggest sweet tooth, I get really exited about dinner foods! I've totally been wanting to try making hiroshima style okonomiyaki lately, it looks amazing. LAYERS OF MEAT AND VEGGIES AND EGG MMM.

those seem like they'd be really hard to flip!!! but okonomiyaki's pretty delicious. they used to sell it in a stand next to uwajimaya but i dunno where the stand went :(

donuts are really good too! i like glazed donut holes, they're so light *w* cake-type donuts are good too but a little bit too dense for me. i like light and fluffy desserts like whipped cream and mousse and... and........ cream puffs..................................... so hungry *Q*

i don't like anything that's heavily minty but i looooooove mint chip ice cream! it's my favourite other than pistachio, but i can never find pistachio ice cream anywhere u~u

yeah I'm not too fond of heavy mints either, like I don't like or peppermint or icebreakers? but a subtle-ish mint is just great uvu and yes pistachio ice cream is really good too!! I haven't had it in a while though I have the same problem where I just can't seem to find it anywhere uAu

yeah pistachio ice cream is so rare... they have it at a baskin robbins here and i think blue bunny sells it but i can never find blue bunny ice cream anywhere so i'm out of luck on the pistachio front!!! what the heck!!!

oh no!! ;; (and gosh lucky you we don't have any baskin robbins nearby here, I've yet to try it!)
but we have a carvel nearby that sells pistachio ice cream on occasion and the few times I've went there that they had it I've tried it and its really good ;u; pistachio really is an underrated flavor it's so sweet but kinda salty at the same time and I just love it uwu

I'm not too too much of a sweets person, but I have a serious soft spot for some of the chocolates that are around during christmas... I've been pretty crazy about ferrero rocher and toffifee lately :* fudgy hazelnutty things are a+

oh man!!! toffee's so delicious!! what do they do to it to make it so flaky and good? i like almond roca. the almond roca plant is in seattle, so we can find it super cheap around here sometimes (though sometimes they sell "mistake" roca and it's somewhat deformed but it still tastes just as good). it tastes so good uwaa...... i want some ;~; maybe making this journal was a bad idea. everyone's makin me so hungry.

what's your least favourite kind of fruit. chances are i'll probably like it. unless it's a durian i'm not goin within ten feet of one of those nightmares

i've never had a durian SO I HAVE NO IDEA but i guess if i had to choose one it would be pineapple? IT'S NOT BAD OVERALL but when it's cooked it has a really weird texture and i don't like it. it's pretty good when raw but i have really sensitive teeth and if i have too much pineapple my mouth starts to hurt and so i sort of naturally avoid them.
i can't think of any fruit that i dislike unanimously

also tea's comment reminded me that i get a box of toffifee for christmas every year for christmas and i generally finish it like by the next day toffifee is so good
