My laptop's keyboard is pretty much toast. Damn thing won't respond or co-operate and here I am bringing it home from the library thinkin "dayum, this weekend Imma play some Hoshigami on the psx emulator" Nooo, hell... I couldn't even draw without uninstalling the keyboard 3 times. It over heats too and the sound cuts in and out (which I am sure is because the keys are possessed by the devil and knock everything out into the land of Mute-but-no-notifications) (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
Then there's the late night pinging noises of death as it hits it's own keys randomly while you are afk. Crazy poltergeist shieeettt goin on here.
The laptop: http://i.imgur.com/tpRjf9c.jpg (I removed the keys that would often function on their own... which is all of the F keys, backspace, enter, both shifts, ctrl and alt keys, esc... and the tab key) This thing is old. about 3+ years. I bought it from a presumed friend who just wanted to make a quick buck from me to pay for her expensive doll collecting hobby. It hasn't worked for me well since I purchased it. Tons of nasty blue screens, I had to format it twice already... resulting in a lot of lost work. Had to reinstall windows 4 times. I miss my 5 year old Acer Aspire. The only thing that put it in it's grave was a mistake with moving when my water bottle leaked into the laptop bag. Urgh.
So needless to say... I have commissions open sobsobsob
My checklist:
1- My phone is dead due to the crap touch screen and I need it for work so now I can't work because I have no phone for work to get back to me at when I call and ask for work
2- My Laptop with all of my artwork, music, refs, books, programs, is friggen kicking the bucket and I need to save like a crazy person. I should mention this is currently my only connection to the outside world...
3- My birthday is in 7 days and a cake would be nice... it would be....
Gonna post some stuff to Tumblr in hopes of getting signal boosted. This all sucks so damn much. cement head plant My pockets are not that deep!! cries

I bought an external keyboard for super super cheap from wal-mart. They had a sale on em so I weighed, $20 to replace the keyboard in the laptop or $10 for an ONN keyboard. I'm kind of afraid to crack this thing open other than to fix the fan (which needs another cleaning). How do you access your keyboard? Do you crack open the top or flip it and dig for it? Oddly enough, when I had my Acer, I never had to reformat. I never lost my stuff. This Dell thing though... I once had a Dell PC that exploded once upon a time. Dell's freak me out so I think I'm going to save for an Acer.
LOL BIRTHDAYYYSSSS!!! It's crazy. 6 days to go... and I'm gonna eat ice cream. Hopefully it's not friggen raining. :/

I think my dad had to take it apart. And now that I think about it, the keys pop off easy. My brother was...2 or 3 and popped a key off /right/ after he installed the new keyboard so. ;>> Maybe the external keyboard is going to be better headache wise.

Ohhh the keys pop off really easily LOL I'll give you that. The tricky part is trying to pop them back together (I think I broke a few of the clips trying to piece it all back together). The little white pads are tricky little things. And I lost a few of the key-nipples (LMAO I have no idea what else to call em). The external is great. Keys work fine. I find using a USB keyboard much easier in the long run as it's much easier to clean XD (and easier not to break)
LMAO he also still runs around for about 5 minutes every time he poops. I've had him for a really really long time. Wow. 18 years of my life right there... now we know I'm probably much older than 18 LOL.

Ahahaha I'm sure a lot of us are older than 18 XD None of my pets (yet) have lived that long. I didn't think cats could live to18 o.o that is going to boggle my mind the rest of the day.

The vet said that a lot of cats that are like him, live to about 25 (or longer). He's a very big cat (I think you can tell LMAO with fridge comparison there) He weighs about 18lbs.
My grandmother's outdoor cat lived till it was 23. Though it was deaf and half blind by then. Dexter's still goin good. Vocals work awesomely (especially when he wants something), he can obviously hear me (since his ears flick when I call him), and he stares at me from the corner of the room at night, so his eyesight is great LOL.WOOHOO! I can't wait till cake daayyyy

The only thing that doesn't really cost me money is my trip to the library. It costs but mostly a ton of sweat and two hills to climb up. I'm going to try posting everywhere else as well. If I could make just $30 that would help XD, I am that sad... haha omg.
I might just have to wait until the end of this month at this rate LOL. I'm not holding out any hopes. I've never really made money off commissions outside of conventions (even then it was very few). If anything I may be doing some temp work in August... which means less online time. We gotta make tough choices. Life as an adult is balls.Thank you for your thoughts and care. I really do appreciate it. I didn't even know i was missed. I feel loved lol

I miss you a lot, I barely got to talk to you personally before shit hit the fan. We didn't get to draw anything together on OC or continue our RP at all. You are fun and nice to talk to, you actually try to hold a conversation unlike most people I meet on the internet. It's rare to find someone who actually has things to say.

TAT awww some of the kindest stuff right there. I always wonder if I'll be missed and I always hope to leave some kind of impact, hoping that I'm maybe even missed a little bit. I'm glad I've done that and that gives me something to really work towards, you know? With a driving force I can get almost anything done.
Ah well... I actually enjoy speaking with people. LOL many wouldn't think I do since I don't talk very much but I can hold and carry on a conversation about a variety of things. Sometimes it helps to know what people's boundaries are and what triggers them so I can avoid it in the future but otherwise, I'm pretty open minded about most things. (I'm not sure where I am closed minded as I enjoy laughing about a lot of things)
Ahhhh I wanted to do more OC drawings. Drawing WITH someone definitely helps the motivation for me.-
Same here, I haven't been drawing on OC a lot lately so my motivation is kind of lacking, I've been a true slacker ~_~

I rarely ever draw at home these days. I have little to no motivation in that house... sadly. I wish I could spend a few hours on OC just doodling but it's been hard... I usually end up sketching in SAI. sigh I'm a lonely lime-pirate.

We have Dell Latitudes here - those things can take a beating but we've had to reformat ours a few times, too. :( The keyboard should be easy to replace though if you want to temporarily fix it up while saving for a laptop.
But. YAY BIRTHDAYS!! AND HOLY SHIT THAT CAT IS ADORBS.
