Eshanar - singular.
Eshanari - plural.
Eshanarian - adjective.

Physical Features:
-Males are smaller than females
-Males have longer fins and tails than females
-Males have brighter colors than females
-Females do not have breasts (they do not breast feed!)
-They are furred and finned (no feathers, no scales)
-They are omnivores
-They are oviparous
-They are similar in size to humans, ranging 4-6ft
-A female can carry up to 3 eggs (eggs are about 4in in diameter)

Magical Features:
-They produce magic during digestion
-This magic is stored within their bodies and stones
-Excess magic is simply discharged and dissipates
-Stones help to store extra magic the body cannot hold
-Some magic is used to hold the stones in place
-The amount of magic the stones can hold is equivalent to the amount of magic an eshinar's body can hold
-Magic is used for many purposes including flight, egg incubation, combat, hunting, entertainment, and intimacy
-The magic types of parent eshirani do not determin the magic types of their offspring
-The stones used to store magic can only be found on the peaks of tall mountains

-It's common for eggs to be left unguarded at home in magic incubation

-Eshirani of similar magic types tend to hang out together (but they don't have to be similar to get along!)
-Most eshirani settlements are upon high locations including mountains, mesas, and large trees
-It's typical of eshirani to perfom airborn mating dances with their chosen mate in which they show off their magic to each other
-Eshirani children attend certain schools that cater to their magic type
-Children of age are taken as a group by several experienced adults to a mountain summit to choose their stones
