So some month or so ago I had something of a catastrophic computer failure. My laptop is toast and all methods and attempts to recover the data from the hard drive sucked, even for my great catalog of computer knowledge and 'how fixin' shit works'. With the only option left being to pay some guru somewhere assloads of cash, I decided to just take the hit, swallow my vast data losses, and start fresh with my recent stuff.
I backup, but the lesson that I'm having to learn is to do so more often. Anything I've done in the past 5 months is history, so much of my Abigail work is scrap. I'm gonna have to start cataloging what I have online, and what I have in backup.

So... where to go from here? Well, forward, I suppose. I'll be trying to get this new laptop set up proper. Meaning scrapping the abomination (W8) thats on it, restoring it to its proper W7 glory and getting all my former programs back up and running.
