they are mentally tearing me apart... killing me.
what is there for me to do?
i can't make myself quit.
i so badly want to just give up.
why does something that's supposed to help you and be good for you shred me to pieces?

You can't make yourself quit... That's the biggest problem.
You need to make yourself do what you want to do. Self-denial of want will only further the problem.
You live your life for yourself, correct? Go do it. <3
