Payment via paypal is preferable.
Payment may be made up front, or for pieces above $50, 1/2 up front, 1/2 upon completion.
I always keep my commissioners updated with progress, usually these updates occur weekly.
Paintings and refsheets start with thumbnails and rough drawings to get composition and proportions down. Commissioners are welcome to make minor changes at each update stage.

There are three active slots at a time (in addition to unlisted commissions), but there is a waitlist posted so that people interested can reserve spaces.
When I finish a piece on the active list, the first person on the waitlist will be contacted. If they don't respond within 5 days, I'll contact the next person. Payment is not required until you are on the active list =}
