Winged Fantasy - First Copies Available! by Windfalcon

I just got back from a (much needed) vacation in Montana, and arrived home to find my first copies of Winged Fantasy here waiting for me! And they're beautiful!

Book Views!

More Book Views!

144 pages of watercolor instruction, covering dragons, phoenixes, pegasi, gryphons, and more fantastical winged creatures. And of course, as highly requested, an entire chapter on how to draw wings! I currently have a bunch on hand to ship out, though within the month this book will also be available for sales online (Amazon, etc.) and in bookstores such as Barnes and Noble, and art and craft stores such as Michaels and AC Moore, among others. If you're curious, you can also view more pages at the Amazon listing!

If you'd like an autographed copy straight from the author/artist, I am offering them here! Each copy is $25, plus $5 shipping in the U.S. Because I'm using a flat-rate Priority envelope, you can order up to two books for a flat $5 shipping! Please note that shipping overseas is a bit pricier and depends on location. I'm also offering a small pen sketch option for an additional $10. There is no extra charge for signing it, of course :) If interested in a copy and would like to pay by Paypal, please send the total ($30 in the U.S.) to mysticfalcon13(at)hotmail.com. For international orders, please leave a comment or send me a note.

If you will be at Anthrocon, DragonCon, IlluxCon or Furpocalypse, I will also have copies for sale!

This looks so awesome! I've been trying to avoid the step by step drawing books I see so much but I like how you explain stuff so far! The wing page looks really great! I'll definitely try to get it when I can. :D

Thanks! Not to sound biased, but I like the format IMPACT has with their books since it's step-by-step, but in a way that teaches you how to mix colors and come up with effects on your own. For instance, there's one part where I show how to paint a marble pillar, but you can use what you learn there to paint other stone objects. It's not just "here's how to draw this very specific thing from only one angle" like those "Draw 50 Horses" books I admittedly adored as a kid >.>
