Jeez, that last journal was pretty dang mopey. Lets get that outta here.

I'm doing better!

I've casually been eating healthier and surprisingly enough it's helped me a lot, physically and mentally. I still have slow days but overall I have more energy and just feel better about myself. I've already lost a bit of weight. \o/

Megaplex is just around the corner...I'm really excited! Me, my mom, and her fiance are all registered with custom icons by my pal Santi 'n everything! It'll be mom's second Megaplex and Jeff's first! He's worried about culture shock lmao but I showed him some RevFur vids and he seems excited. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get Haku 2.5 touched up in time but...Oh well. I got complements on him regardless so maybe I'm just fretting too much. :>

I'm also trying to organize an actual birthday party at the con, despite it ending just before my actual birthday, July 28th. That's still a WIP.

I've also got a themed outfit planned for Haku! I skipped theming last year but this year is candy so I'm kiiiinda obligated to do -something-, you know? M&M's themed! I gotta find a shirt still but Santi drew my icon wearing a cute M&M's-colored scarf so I grabbed some spare fleece from Emi and will be making that to wear. :D

I'm still working on his dragon design, too. I've got a piece in the works by Synchra that should help me finalize and touch up a few choices. I've clicked really well with it as a design so I think my years-long search for a secondary dragonsona is finally over. And, technically, it's not even secondary! :P

Overall...Yeah. I'm feeling better. I've still got some trouble, like my job only giving my three hours of work this week for example, but I'm on the hunt for a new gig so that shouldn't be an issue too much longer. I'm just keeping my chin up and looking forward to Megaplex to keep me going. I need that detox!
