[Answers] Miska's Q&A (plus I'm back!) by PlayPossum

Oy, oy! After a long and longsome hiatus, here I am. I'll be rocking you like a hurricane and back to business!
As an apology, my return is accompanied by a drawing, a song and this Q&A at the same time. Expect me from now on. :)

Tiido Do you enjoy work at DumpDonald's?

"In fact, yes! It doesn't pay that much, but I don't spend loads either. I'm a chatterbox, so dealing with customers is easy. An okay amount of work for the payment so I can live with no worries. And I get FREE LEFTOVERS, MAN!"

oblivion_walker How did you come up with Miska?

I nailed down my favorite species and chose the best one for an energetic, young adult. Only then I started developing her personality and background, so I could mix my intentions with a possum's characteristics.

whitemantis I'll be hardcore and ask you to fill [this].

HOLY MOLD, LET'S DO THIS!

1: What does their bedroom look like?
A burrow looking attic, in a fraternity.

2: Do they have any daily rituals?
Waiting for others to finish their meals so she can take the leftovers - they have a special appeal to her, as in being lucky to get the last bite. It's instinctive.

3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
She goes to work on rollers, as well as to the karate classes, where she practices it.

4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
Trash cans are like vending machines, but free and just by every doorstep!

5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
She does some cleaning on the main house, as long as their friends are concerned. But actually she just piles up everything she can into her living space, like a garbage collector.
But she keeps her junkyard-bedroom free from organic food in general, and by food I mean garbage. It's an organized chaos with no grease stains nor rotten stuff, but full of mechanical pieces and useless crates.

6: Eating habits and sample daily menu

Morning - breakfast;

  • Leftovers, cereal, sandwich, soda, fruits

Noon - lunch at her working place;

  • Junk food, processed small creatures, rotten vegetables, paper towels.

Afternoon - fruit in the way to karate

Free night - snacks back at home

  • Biscuits, leftovers, milk, Doritos

Busy night - nightclub food/drinks

7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
Lazy butt, will probably spend ages just laying down listening to music and falling asleep.
"What, wasting time?! Are you insane, do you have any idea how many things I have out there still to do? I would never waste a single waking hour!"

8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
None. Doesn't get the concept.

9: Makeup?
Only if it's thematic in a show or something.

10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Not really, she's too slacky to worry about small things (and medium ones, as a matter of fact).

11: Intellectual pursuits?
She intended going for a nutritionist degree, but gave up on the idea to pursue her musical development.

12: Favorite book genre?
Anything depicting ancient societies goes.

13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?
Heterossexual. Sees no reason to pry into others' sexuality.

14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
Heterochromia. Immunity to poison and her stomach bears pretty much anything.

15: Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Biggest: Getting a good gig to lever her career.
Smallest: Get a raise at DumpDonald's.

16: Biggest and smallest long term goal?
Biggest: Being an acclaimed electronic musician/composer. She's always reading, researching and listening to references for improving.
Smallest: Building a studio to work professionally

17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
She prefers to keep it simple, comfy and casual, but good-looking. Something you can put on and forget it exists.
The only ritual would be undoing and redoing her braid before/after work.

18: Favorite beverage?
Strawberry juice.
"So sweet it aches!"

19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
Nothing, she usually falls asleep instantly, going to bed only when she's already sleepy.

20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
Once a classmate heard about opossum's immunity to poison and dared her to drink some inseticide. Gladly it was true and she only vomited all day long, getting hoarse for a couple days.
She also broke her arm once when trying to ride a skate WHILE wearing rollers. Stupid kid.

Other than that, her health is rock solid.

21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
On - Casual dressing, mammals, whiskers, spots, clever and straight to the point speakers.
Off - Fit, fat, over-pierced, scales, air-heads, small talk, bad music, BAD MUSICAL TASTE.

22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
Horrible sketches of flaming skulls and laser octopusses.

23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?
Refer to #5. Absolute chaos at home, but simple and tidy on the looks.

24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?
She's pretty fast with basic operations because of her work, and studies music. She does also understand more than average about electronic circuits and stuff, due curiosity and her father's influence.

25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
"Hopefully in the Top 10..."

26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
Owning a house with a studio and lots of workshops for her garbage treasures to be frankensteined upon.
If things don't work out, she can always keep working where she already does, cause it's enough to pay the bills and keep doing what she likes.

27: What is their biggest regret?
She doesn't linger on things for long, but there are lots of situations where her impulses for leftovers created awkward situations; the shame of the moment keeps fresh in the back of her head, although it's something she will often laugh at.

28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Her roomate.
Enemies are a waste of time.

29: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)
Totally try to save the more important stuff in her room. If the fire is not that overwhelming, she would even try to fight it.

30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)
Didn't happen yet, so not sure.

31: Most prized possession?
A human-size crane bucket built by herself with her dad, rather useless but awesome for showing off.

32: Thoughts on material possessions in general?
Dettached in general from superfluous things advertised around or being sold, but urged to possess it if it's interesting and lying around. Her collection is barely touched, but treasured.

33: Concept of home and family?
Her home and family of origin are great, but she had to move to a greater city for pursuing such an urban dream.

34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)
Won't talk unnecessary and awkward stuff, nor make anyone her therapist/emotional trash bin, but will be more than glad to share life events and lived experiences.

35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?
Games, drawing.

36: What makes them feel guilty?
Leaving an interesting object behind.
Breaking a promise/not achieveing a personal goal.
Piling up too much work.

37: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
Although one would say her decisions are most analytical, she perceives it as "going with the feel".

38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
Silence, meditation, sleeping or going to the park with rollers.

39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?
Neither, unless you're talking about musical taste. She can get pretty sporty on that!

40: How misanthropic are they?
"Humans? What is that?" Also refer to 39; since she has no superiority-complex, it makes little sense to belittle others.

41: Hobbies?
Music, building/repairing electronics, roller, karate, creating recipes.

42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?
Highschool only. Few courses would cater to her needs, so she went with self-education. With enough effort put into it, pretty much anything can be self-taught.

43: Religion?
"Not interested, thanks."

44: Superstitions or views on the occult?
Collects amulets and trinkets as a force of habit, so sometimes you might catch herself trying to believe them as a bonus.

45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Words, mostly. If it's something important, though, she might get to actions.

46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
Someone part of the musical scene, okay with her habits and okay musical taste. "Okay" because no one can compare to her flawless selection of favorites.

47: How do they express love?
Cooking, being a bit more talkative and crafting presents out of junk. On a more advanced level, cuddling, sharing songs and giving tails.

48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?
Karate and pub-like cheap shots.

49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Not particularly, but sure. "I'm not even nearly done yet, give me a few decades!"
