Dead stuff by Tapeworm

I dunno what rating to put on this. I don't really feel like I'm talking about anything really inappropriate. Oh well.

So far this summer's been pretty good for picking up dead stuff, but a couple of things I have I picked up back in the fall. But I'm just now going through and picking out the bones. I have a possum skull that's almost the same size as my coyote skull and a cat skull that I painted cool designs on that glow.
I have the rest of their skeletons I'm kinda waiting for and another small possum I recently picked up. I even found some raccoon and possum bones that I didn't have to wait for everything to rot off of.

It's really great to be picking up more bones, I'm starting to feel more inspired to make things because of it, I had problems before because of my lack of bones. I'm even trying different things with them when it comes to necklaces. And once I can actually drive, I'm definately going to go around and look for more bones and dead stuff and find cool places in the mountains for that.

I'm not sure why I like dead stuff, I think it's because I find the whole rotting thing really interesting and I've always been fascinated with anatomy and all that. I could say that working with bones is a spiritual thing but I'm not sure if it is for me. I just really like the smell and feel of bones and the look of mummified things. But I do feel that the bones "tell" me what to do with them when it comes to making stuff. That's probably why I can't leave them alone when I have them and have to do something.
