Age of Wolves 3D by DeRiften

Whoo boy am I busy, I'm thankful I have the day off on Tuesday since that will be one extra day to work on projects. What's that, why do I have a day off? Because my Physics teacher is a lucky bastard and he gets to hold a panel at E3 next week as a business trip, that's why! Handed over the first half of the analysis team project, finished another physics project, started another physics project, had an audio quiz which I wasn't aware of, but still got 100% because it was about lossy and lossless formats so since I'm an audiophile and a member of What, it'd be a shame if I didn't get it right. After the quiz we continued working on the project in class, but first I got some help for the issues I've been having with Pacman and I've finally completed it, again. You know, I should just stop saying I've finished it since I keep adding onto it whenever I have something new to test before I apply it to the real project. Today I've also started a new project for my AI class, but it's so easy I expect it'll be finished within an hour once I decide to give it some time.

To recap, my list of stuff to do this weekend is:
Finish rendering homework (sculpt a 3D polygon on Maya with the help of two 2D reference images, should take less than half an hour)
Finish physics project (I'm stuck on it at the moment but since I have to finish it before next class and we don't have Physics next week because of E3, I have a whole week to find a solution and the rest shouldn't be too hard. I give it a couple hours to a day of work if I get stuck again)
Continue and possibly finish audio project (I need to finish it before the 11th so if I don't have time to finish it this weekend, I'll still have Tuesday. I give it a day or two of work)
Finish AI project (Very simple, less than an hour)

Also, there shouldn't be any quizzes or exams next week so I'm fine on the studying side, whoo! I'll still be plenty of studying by working on the projects, though, but at least I won't have to sacrifice a couple of hours to do some reading. I'm still feeling pretty well rested, so unless I just jinxed it, I might actually work both tomorrow and Sunday instead of taking a day off to relax.

But if I do take a day off, I reckon it'll be to play some Age of Mythology HD. That's right, it came out I think a week or two ago and I've really been looking forward to it so I managed to squeeze a few sessions totaling 106 minutes during the week to play it a little and... well it suffers from the same slow start that Age of Empires II HD did, complete with complete unplayability if you're the multiplayer type, glitchy graphics and textures, faulty collisions (units keep getting stuck inside of buildings), missing sounds and features (including the entire history/contents table that I loved to read)... right now it feels like a beta version of the original game, not a 2014 HD remake. But keep in mind that it took quite a while for them to fix Age of Empires II HD and make it vastly superior to the original game, so I have faith that they'll fix Age of Mythology HD and make it an epic remake... though I'm a little worried they'll break the game again like they did with Age of Empires II HD when they released the new expansion. This is when I quit, but I heard they've fixed it since then so maybe it isn't worth worrying much about, especially since I don't think they'd release a new expansion for Age of Mythology (one can hope, though).

Finally I received a pretty cool thing in the mail yesterday, a knuckle ring I got off eBay! It looks pretty awesome: the top part is like a normal ring with a wolf's head on it, and the rest makes your finger look like it has a wolf claw, which is pretty badass. At first it was pretty stiff but after using it for a while, it loosened and now it almost feels natural; I still haven't fully gotten used to it yet... I have to relearn how to use my left thumb for daily thing. This sounds simple but it's actually way more complicated than it sounds since you have very limited sensibility with the ring on and the claw can get stuck into things or poke things that don't like to be poked. It's still really awesome, though, considering I got it for 5$.
