Burn teacher burn, summer inferno by DeRiften

Today was grocery day, but hot dang was it hot. It's been really hot literally all week (all two days of it), with temperatures going over 35C with the humidity. We're only in June, too, I'm REALLY not eager to seeing over 50C in July. Ah well, I decided to really test just how far those free meals coupons I got from McDonalds go, so I ordered a large wrap, changed the fries into a buffalo chicken poutine, got a large iced moka as well as a large Coffee Crisp McFlurry. I shit you not, the total was 16.91$. The cashier looked at it, looked suspicious and actually went to ask the manager if this was legit aaaaaand... it passed! Suffice it to say, I was stuffed full of goodies when I got outta there and I now know there's no limits to the "free meal" thing... except maybe ordering multiple trios? I won't try that though, lest I gain so much weight they take me for a regular.

After that I had an appointment for my near-monthly massage and it was pretty awesome as usual, but by the time I got out it was past noon so it was really, REALLY hot... and I had to pick my coat from the repair place I sent it to last time I went to the shops to get the ripped pocket repaired. Thankfully though, there was still place in my grocery bag for the coat so I didn't have to wear it; I think I'd have died.

Melted at home for the longest time, wishing I hadn't eaten so much at McDonalds so I could treat me to a bowl of ice cream, then when I was thinking about skipping class to melt in peace it started raining. Ends up that rain was a godsend because today was the physics exam I had completely forgotten about. You know, the final exam I talked about and said I'd study about... yeah, thankfully I was wrong and it wasn't the final exam after all (which in retrospect makes sense since we're not even mid-semester). Plus we've had a general revision before we started the actual thing so I wasn't completely screwed, but it was still much harder than necessary; I don't think I'll be getting more than 80% on that one but I'll probably pass anyway. What worries me more is that the students have signed a petition to directly confront one of the teachers about his very harsh teaching/correcting methods, since the department responsible doesn't do anything other than say "I'll speak to him right now, things will change".

...I just hope I get used to this weather soon, I'm sweating like a pig and the worst part is that I actually HAVE to wear clothes and go outside >.>
