Thanks to an amazing donation, I was able to cover my bills for this coming month and things are looking up.

I got the results of my hip x-ray, as well. My right hip is textbook perfect - not even any extra wear and tear from my weight. But my left...

I have bone spurs and arthritis in it, but that's not what's causing the problem of it freezing in place with searing pain. What is?

A nerve has gotten 'wrapped around" one of the bone spurs, and when my leg is in a certain position, the joint pinches the nerve and I lose the ability to move as well as it screaming in pain. Thankfully this isn't a horrible thing...not right now.

I'm going to be getting an MRI done to confirm the diagnosis, then likely more physical therapy. However, if the therapy doesn't work within six months and unpinch the nerve? I'll have to go in for surgery to file down the osteophite/bone spur, and free the trapped nerve. Hopefully the therapy will work.

As always, I accept donations to help with medicine and food through the month. However, I'm looking into setting up a Patreon campaign which will hopefully eliminate the need to beg for donations, AND allow people to pay me based on actual work I do - writing informative blog posts as well as doing artwork.

The way Patreon works is that you go to my page (no link yet - I'm working on making the video for it and it can't go up until it's complete), and select how much you want to pledge to me every time I put up a piece of new content. It can be as little as a dollar. And you can set a cap - if you don't want to send more than $10 a month to me? You can say that. It'll just send me a dollar from you every time I put up a piece of content for the first ten per month, then it'll stop.

If everyone who donates to me and commissions me regularly were to do that, I would be pulling in several hundred dollars a month on the low end - no more begging, AND no more large scale donations from my supporters. Plus, there will be all sorts of things that ONLY my patrons will be able to see - private, voted on content varying from NSFW stories and artwork to articles on topics my patrons would like to know more about. All just by pledging a few dollars to me a month.

So, so I can get an idea, whoever would be willing to pledge to me a bit every month - $1 or higher - please just respond to this journal. Don't tell me how much - a smiley is enough of a response. Stand up and be counted and let me know who's support I can count on. After all - I'm doing this for you all as much as I'm doing it for me.
