- First, how did you tell your parents that you are a furry?

I figured they knew after I began involving myself with the community by going to the meets that occur here in Pittsburgh. I'm looking to go back to Anthrocon this year and I'm trying to see if I can get my mother to go. Also, posting where I went to eat somewhere and stating #CheetahNOMs on FB contributed to that as well.

- Do your parents know about your fursuit(s)?

I don't think they know, but I will tell them I am aiming to commission one for next year's Anthrocon (2015) around September. As far as the fursuit maker, I haven't decided on one yet.

- Does the rest of your family know about you being a furry/having a fursuit?

I'm pretty sure they do based on the Facebook posts I've made since I made it known back in January that I was a furry. Whether or not any of them paid attention to it is unknown; none of them have asked me about it since. They don't know about the fursuit part yet.

- Did you explain/tell your significant other?

I am still single right now.

- What did your friends say, after you show/explain it to them?

They didn't have much to say about it; most of them ignored it/paid it no attention at all.

- Did you tell people at your work/job about it?

They found out on FB the same way everyone else did; they're all cool about it and make jokes every now and then for a good laugh. My boss was the first person to ask me about it and calls me #CheetahBoy every now and then. I think she's encouraging (or at least wants to see) me to get a fursuit.

- If you have Facebook, do you keep your furry/fursuit things separate from friends/family/colleagues?

I do have a Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/KhalilBrown1993) and a page for my fursona that I manage (http://www.facebook.com/mekalikaga), but I don't really keep furry things separate; it's a hobby, after all. No harm ever came from a hobby.
