Should I open character commissions? by CrystalCircle

Now that my exams are over, I have more time to draw! :D

So I was wondering if I should open character design and line art commissions? I don't know what my prices will be like, but I will try to make them reasonable. I'm not going to charge a crud ton of money for a drawing! XD

First thing first: I have to finish my current art trade before I do any commissions!

I may also do existing character portraits as well. I'm just better at designing new things when given a few prompts. I'm also better at drawing creatures or animals. Human anatomy is still pretty new to me and I don't want to give some one a bad commission by drawing a human with wonky anatomy :p

So what do you guys think?

    I'm trying to figure out similar pricing issues, it looks like I need to fiddle with parts of my surcharge structure.

      I'm thinking of setting mine up so if people want additional poses or views it would be an additional $5 each or something like that. I'm going to make a pose sheet and draw some example commissions and see where it goes from there ^^

    I was aiming for a point commission through DA. I don't know how to use PayPal, nor do I have the advantage to do so. how bout a trade?

      I will take both real money or point equivalent on DA :) 80 points=$1.00. I did that when I had commissions years ago.

      I would love to do a trade if you are still interested ^^
