Art trade? by Sanne
Hey!
I'd love some art for my new character Milena (http://www.rprepository.com/c/milena) but can't afford to commission right now. I'm hoping to do an art trade with someone who likes to draw anthros. I know I'll probably sound like a butt with the following, but... I'd really like to trade with someone at about my own skill level.
I'm sorry if that sounds haughty, I'm just a bit bummed about previous trades going bad. :x Not sure if your art is what I'm looking for? No worries, you can post here or send me a PM and I'll let you know! Please do offer, you already have a 'no thanks' by not offering, so the worst part is already over. :3

Yeah, I've had trades where I did a full piece, with shading and a background and everything, and got a rather crappy (paper) sketch in return, so I just don't want to end up trading with someone who doesn't even try to do their best. Usually this means beginning artists make a poor match. :c It kind of sucks, because I don't mind beginners level art at all, I just don't feel most of them make a genuine effort.

...I actually came here to thank you for the follow, but I just really wanted to comment on that! And I don't think asking for something comparable to your skill level makes you an asshole, even if it's kind of subjective.
