Latin Biology Naming HELP! by loucathwil

Heya guys!

I have just spent heck knows how long, trying to find out the scientific term for a lower body that is a singular column, and tail-like in appearance (eg: mermaids and snake people).

The reason I’m going to such lengths, is because I want to use this classification on my pricing sheet for commissions and such, as it’s a lot quicker than writing ‘Mermaid/Nagini/wormwoman/etc/etc.’

The closest I could muster was this lot of bastardized latin XD (pygo/pygal is latin for bum/tail, Ophidian is latin for snake, Cauda also means tail, and we all know corpse means body)

PygalOphidan
Corpopygal
Corpocauda

Your advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Best wishes

Louise
