Recently (last few months) a fan of my quicksand themed pieces has be asking me for tips, pointers, and so forth on drawing. This person along with others do often ask when the next quicksand piece is coming. I tell them whenever one of them commissions me or when the mood hits and that sometimes I don't want to be the one trick pony. I diud and gladly will help out anyone who asks for information because well that's the wolf/teacher side of me. Person never asked anything that was too complicated in fact last two requests were pretty simple, the last one being how I rendered sand texture as he wanted to try out quicksand art as well. Fine, good, I mean we all have our vices so no biggie. Today I got a note from said person that he had finally posted the image and wanted me to see it. Sadly I am at work during this and most furry sites ate blocked, so I'd have to wait.

The wait would not be long as soon after I was informed by same person to ignore that note and image as they took it down as they did not want to be known as a "fetish artist". I fell I should point out that this person represents a small but very vocal group who see no problem with me posting quicksand, tentacle, WAM, or whatever thing gets their juices going but when the artistic gauntlet is put on the other paw, apparently they don't want to be labelled. So let me assure everyone reading this journal, I am Silvermane and I can be considered a " fetish artist" and I am not ashamed to admit that. Oh furry you never cease to make me laugh.
