On the more semi pleasant side of things, my work contract has run out since the water park I was working at isn't open over Winter (Southern Hemisphere timezones), so time to start looking for work again! That said, if worst comes to worst and I can't find anything till it reopens in November, I can go back for another season, still, wish me luck.

On the bad side of things, my grandfather passed away this weekend. He's been in a home for a while, and has been steadily going downhill, I'm almost glad to see him go for the sake of his own peace. It hasn't really hit me yet, I admit, but odds are the funeral is going to destroy me, guess we'll see. Aparantley the lights flickered just before he died, I'm not a superstitious person, but this is still... something somewhat reassuring for that spiritual element.
