so it's been a while, and I wanted to write a silly essay about the 10th (that's right) anniversary of Kurt Cobain's suicide because when it actually happened then I was in grade school and all these other primo rock cult meltzers were adults when it first happened

so naturally I remember this awkward kid who brought his Squier Strat to the school cafeteria in 2004 to play Nirvana riffs better than anything that happened in 1994, but why spend so much time trying to find so many words for a non-event that doesn't register for anyone else, so I let that fall by the wayside
