This coming week or so, I'll likely only be answering messages on the various art sites I visit. I've had a couple of long days, with a few more to come, and, to be polite, can't be arsed sifting through the feeds.

I've started my "Activity" with my jobsearch network (a group that helps people in their jobsearch efforts). I wasn't due to start it for another couple of months, but with some upcoming events, I agreed it was better to tackle it now rather than later. All it means is that I spend a bit of each day as required at the jobsearch office taking "classes" and doing up résumés and cover letters to send out. I had my first session today, but rather than three hours, I was there for almost six; the organiser for a local music event came in asking for people interested in helping the cleanup during and after the event, and I'm quite keen to help out.

As well as this, I've found a hospitality course that'll be starting around the same time (a class a week for seventeen weeks). I'll learn all sorts of new skills like bartending, coffeemaking, and so on, skills that seem to be in demand at the moment. I'm enquiring about it soon, but had wanted to ask my jobsearch network about it. The verdict was along the lines of "yeah, that sounds cool", in different words. So, I apologise for not spamming your inboxes with "favourite" notifications for the next while. I'll be on my usual chat programs and sites as usual. I'm slowly working on the gifts I've promised people (and for those who don't know they're coming). I think I'm about half-way through the list.
