• What is the name of your fursona?
Lezak J. Hart and Cappi Maddow
• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
Lezak was a nickname that I got from an old website I was on. It's Kazel, my online pseudonym (don't ever give your real name away online, kids!) at the time. Interestingly enough, Kazel was an OC I had created for the book series, Keys to the Kingdom and she was a rat. J. Hart because it is my alter ego.
Cappi is short for Capricorn, my star sign and also I really like goats. Maddow because the character is based on my gendeer design (see: tumblr user Cuteospehere) who ended up looking like political pundit, Rachel Maddow.
• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Evolved from a stag with glasses because my friends would always call my Prongs from Harry Potter. We gave each other HP nicknames and I got to be Prongs! I'd sometimes roleplay as James Potter too, but I made a distaff character, my rp "muse" as it was, Jamie Newhawk who could turn into a stag too. The deer thing stuck. At the time I heard about these fursonas, my deer looked like dogs with antlers. I ended up cutting my loses and calling her a dogelk.
However, I have come to the conclusion I will never be a magnificent elk. In real life, I'm small and a little sparky, which sounds like a muntjac-- one of the smallest (and cutest!) deer species.
I just really like deer. They're giant dorks.
• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc
Lezak started off as a gross brown color but I ended up changing it to fit the color I ended up making for her fursuit.
Cappi is natural reeve's muntjac colors.
• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Lezak would always just mirror myself, but with the introduction of Cappi, I ended up giving her a unique personality. She's a lot more submissive than I am, but she's clever and caring and totally a people pleaser (that part is all me). She's intuitively creative and can come up with new and great ideas on the spot, out of nowhere.
Cappi is what I'd want to be more like. She's outgoing, intense, fierce and a little too big for her britches. She's intelligent, but impulsive. She does care for people, but she doesn't always show it, like Lezak.

• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
I'd ask Cappi for networking tips and I'd probably just hug Lezak.
• How has your fursona changed over the years?
Not much has changed for Lezak. I just made Cappi!
• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Yes. Definitely. Both of them.
